Rand is the Principal and Founding Partner of ReALTA Real Estate Services.
Rand began his professional career in banking more than 30 years ago, during which time held several Banking Officer positions in real estate, special assets, and venture capital. He moved on to become the President of Gordon Inc., a local manufacture of commercial ceiling/building products. Selling Gordon Inc. to his employees in 2010, Rand continues as Chairman of the Board and CEO for the company.
Over the years Rand has been a real estate developer, investor, and operator both locally and abroad for a number of real estate interests including self-storage facilities, industrial, office and retail properties. He has also been involved in several multi-family development projects in Florida, Texas and throughout Louisiana.
Rand has continued to expanded his business interests into the ownership, management and mentoring of a number of local and regional businesses, some of which are…Sound Fighter Systems, a manufacturer of highway sound barriers sold throughout the U.S.; CRM Studios, a full-service media production company that offers a diverse range of film/video, digital and high definition production; Portable on Demand Storage
Both past and present, Rand is very involved within his community, serving as a board member and Past Chairman to various local organizations including…the Committee of 100; Community Foundation; Robinson Film Center; business advisory board for Centenary College; Louisiana Chapter of the Young Presidents Association; Sci-Port Discovery Center; Greater Bossier Economic Development Foundation; Biomedical Research Foundation; and Cohabitat.
He remains as an active member of the Willis Knighton Health System Board of Trustees on a local level and serves as an Advisor for the Zita Trust to benefit Holy Angels Residential Facility for the mentally disabled.
Through his various business ventures and dedication to his community Rand has had the honor to be recipient to a number of local achievements. Achievements include…the “Businessman of the Year” awarded by the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce; “Samaritan of the Year” awarded by the Samaritan Center of Shreveport-Bossier; and the “Outstanding Philanthropist” awarded by the Association of Fundraising Professionals NWLA Chapter.
Rand holds a BBA degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University and a MBA degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a licensed CPA.
Continuing with his list of accomplishments…Rand is married to his high school sweetheart, Susan, and together they have two children and a grandson. Rand is also a licensed pilot who enjoys spending downtime traveling and piloting his own jet.
